Community

The Tlingit Natives have a strong sense of family and community.  In preserving our Alaska Native heritage, we continue the belief of not just being a part of a community, but also giving back.  By making our communities strong, we are making each other strong.

Cape Fox Inspirations

Cape Fox Cares

Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) has always been mindful of our social responsibility.  Each year we organize and support many philanthropic events that give back to our communities. In order to deliver the best support we can, we have created a Cape Fox Cares Program. We are caring for our local communities across the nation, wherever Cape Fox exists.  We often support children, our military and first responders, and organizations we believe further and strengthen our communities.  We strive to preserve our culture, educate our youth, and strengthen our communities because Cape Fox Cares.

Cape Fox Cares, the charitable program for Cape Fox Corporation (CFC), supports endeavors that focus on the well-being of communities through education and advancement. In June, Cape Fox Cares donated to the Smart Community STEM Camp (SCSC). As CFC looks to the future with our new CFC Innovation Hub, we are proud to support the educational possibilities for young children who excel and have an interest in technology and advancing communities with modern and emerging technologies.

Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) believes strongly in giving back to our communities and supporting our neighbors. In March 2022, CFC through its Cape Fox Cares Program sent a donation to Jonathan Williams. Jonathan is a resident of Ketchikan, Alaska on the Team Alaska Delegation of the June 2022 Special Olympics. Jonathan will be representing Alaska in the power lifting category. To show our support of Jonathan, Cape Fox Cares sent a special donation to help offset many of the costs associated with participating in the Special Olympics such as travel, lodging, etc.

Philanthropy in 2021 – Cape Fox Cares Made the Season Festive

Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude and thankfulness. We take this time each year to count our blessing and spend time with family and friends. This year has been one of great thankfulness for Cape Fox Corporation (CFC). In the spirit of feeling gratitude and spreading cheer, we are thankful for our community. To show our gratitude and how much we care, CFC used this Thanksgiving to give back to our community in Saxman, Alaska.
