Novae are stars that shine brightly and are incredibly luminous, surpassing the luminosity of traditional stars. Cape Fox Shared Services (CFSS) is highlighting one of its Nova employees who has always shone bright. Even her name often evokes smiles among staff because of her calming personality and positive, confident attitude. Evie Mills is the Office Manager for CFSS. She is usually the first face many see in the morning and the last they see as they head home for the day. She was recently recognized for her talent, expertise, positive attitude, and infectious spirit with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award recognizes employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and a positive attitude. Evie is always ready to lend a hand or provide support; she is a Cape Fox Supernova and exemplifies the values of the Cape Fox Tinàa Award.
Evie has been with CFSS for ten years in Business Development and most recently as CFSS Office Manager. She supports the corporate leadership of Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) and maintains the Corporate Office in Chantilly, VA. She approaches every task with professionalism, flexibility, and a commitment to excellence.
Evie was nominated for this award by Stuart McCusker, Procurement Manager, who stated that, “She [Evie] always does a great job putting office events together, (lunches/theme parties/office decorations), but in particular her advertising for the Office Olympics has made everyone who sees the posted pics, laugh out loud, which is very important for a great environment. I have long thought she does a great job coordinating everything, but anytime someone does something to make our work/life/fun environment better, or in this case super fun, I am hopeful the effort gets recognized. It makes for a fun day, but more importantly, it builds a good team, which is super important for our company, which is why I’m nominating her for this.”
