Cape Fox Lodge is excited to announce our recognition by AAA for Best of Housekeeping property for 2022. This recognition means our Lodge has significantly surpassed expectations for cleanliness. The criteria for hotels are measured during an inspector’s on-site evaluation.
AAA has been providing traveler recommendations for 119 years. For 84 years, AAA has been visiting hotels, campgrounds, and lodges to inspect and provide an evaluation to travelers so they know what to expect when they are traveling. This has meant staying on top of and adapting to travel trends and the modern needs of each traveler. Cape Fox Lodge is excited to be part of this Diamond Program and to have a well-cared-for property anyone would want to visit.
Cape Fox Lodge is also proud of Erin McGovern, Housekeeper Manager, and William Thomas (Billy Joe), Manager at the Lodge, for leading the efforts. The Lodge also extends a special thank you to Janet Anderson. She is a Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) Shareholder and the “heart and soul” of the housekeeping team. Their hard work exemplifies the spirit of Cape Fox and is one of the reasons Cape Fox Lodge is receiving this recognition.
