Historic Landmark Legislation Signed into Law
On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) is proud to announce that the President signed into law H.R. 2815, the “Cape Fox Land Entitlement Finalization Act of 2025.
This law waives the requirement under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act for the Cape Fox Village Corporation to receive certain federal land for settlement purposes and authorizes CFC to select other previously identified land.
Cape Fox Communications Team Shines with Distinction
For several years, the Cape Fox Communications Team has stood out for its digital and print creativity through websites, newsletters, videos, and advertising. This year, Communications is delighted to add a few more wins to its portfolio for its creativity. In May, Communications learned that it won three Awards of Distinction from the Communicator Awards. The Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.

Many Cape Fox Shared Services (CFSS) positions are performed without fanfare or accolades. The employees provide support and assistance, without their names being heralded for all they did to contribute to success. One example is the IT Services team members who help Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) employees perform their work without interruption in digital services. This support often entails listening, helping, and assisting individuals on tight deadlines. One employee, Matt Reed, has stood out from the crowd for his pleasant rapport with employees and his enthusiastic, enterprising attitude to each IT issue that comes across his desk. For these reasons, Matt was recently recognized with the Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award honors employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and a positive attitude.
Cape Fox Corporation Earns Prestigious USA TODAY 2026 Top Workplaces Award
Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) announces that it has earned the prestigious USA TODAY 2026 Top Workplaces award.
The award honors organizations with 150 or more employees that have created exceptional, people-first cultures. This year, more than 42,000 organizations were invited to participate. The winners are recognized for their commitment to fostering a workplace environment that values employee feedback, listening, and engagement. USA TODAY showcased the winners online and at the National Awards Summit in Nashville, Tennessee, which this year hosted 145 companies and about 375 total attendees.
One Cape Fox Supernova Shines So Bright
Novae are stars that shine brightly and are incredibly luminous, surpassing the luminosity of traditional stars. Cape Fox Shared Services (CFSS) is highlighting one of its Nova employees who has always shone bright. Even her name often evokes smiles among staff because of her calming personality and positive, confident attitude. Evie Mills is the Office Manager for CFSS. She is usually the first face many see in the morning and the last they see as they head home for the day. She was recently recognized for her talent, expertise, positive attitude, and infectious spirit with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award recognizes employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and a positive attitude. Evie is always ready to lend a hand or provide support; she is a Cape Fox Supernova and exemplifies the values of the Cape Fox Tinàa Award.
CFSS HR Director Shines as a Leader and Asset
Human Resources oversees an employee’s journey with the company, starting from recruitment and hiring, through onboarding, training, managing benefits and payroll, handling employee relations, performance management, and ensuring legal compliance. Cape Fox Shared Services (CFSS) HR is also responsible for creating a positive work environment and supporting the organization in achieving its goals. Many of the HR staff work behind the scenes, but they are still part of the heart of the organization. One HR employee has consistently stood out for his calm presence, effective leadership, and commitment to quality. Kevin Marshall, the Director of Human Resources, was recently nominated and presented with a Cape Fox Tinàa Award for Employee Excellence. This award recognizes employees who demonstrate dedication, performance, dependability, productivity, and a positive attitude.
Cape Fox Tours Honored with a 2025 Travelers’ Choice Award
Cape Fox Tours (CFC) welcomes guests and new friends to our shores yearly. The past tourism season was a tremendous success. One of the highlights that many tourists found was when they visited and took one of our Cape Fox Tour (CFT) packages. CFT invests considerable effort and pride in our tourism and adventure offerings, and this hard work has been recognized. CFT has won a 2025 Travelers’ Choice Award from TripAdvisor. This is an exceptional honor, and CFT is proud of our staff, patrons, and shareholders, who contribute to our success daily.
