For several years, the Cape Fox Communications Team has stood out for its digital and print creativity through websites, newsletters, videos, and advertising. This year, Communications is delighted to add a brand-new award to its portfolio. In May, Communications learned that it won two Awards of Excellence and two Awards of Distinction from the Communicator Awards. The Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.

The 29th Annual Communicator Awards had around 3,000 entries received from across the United States and the world. Founded nearly three decades ago, the Communicator Awards is an annual competition recognizing the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations, and design. The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The AIVA is an invitation-only member-based organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Winners who received the competition’s highest honor, the Award of Excellence, include Bank of America, Groove Jones, PBS, Hearts & Science, Pepsico, George Mason University, AARP, and Cape Fox Corporation.

Cape Fox Communications won awards for the following marketing and communications projects:

  • Award of ExcellenceFaces of Ketchikan print Ad that was in the Top 49ers’ edition of the AK Business Magazine was awarded for its creative design.
  • Award of ExcellenceFaces of Ketchikan website was awarded as a top travel and tourism website.
  • Award of DistinctionSweet Mermaids website was awarded for its copywriting.
  • Award of DistinctionCape Fox Cultural Foundation video was awarded for its visual appeal and branded content.
