This year has been filled with blessings, achievements, and growth. The best way for Cape Fox Corporation (CFC) to celebrate our good fortunes is by giving back to others. For the fourth year in a row, CFC held its annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive in Saxman, Alaska. During this time, when everyone is expressing and showing gratitude and thankfulness, we wanted to express our thanks to our community.
On November 22, 2022, Cape Fox Cares, the CFC fundraising program, sponsored a community food delivery to all the families in Saxman, Alaska. Twenty volunteers from Cape Fox Lodge and CFC Corporate Office wanted to ensure that everyone in their community could enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with family and friends. Each family received a 20 lb turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, corn, green beans, canned fruit, and a braid of sourdough rolls. In total, 150 turkeys and bags of food were given out to the community.
CFC has had many blessings over the year, but nothing is more important to us than our Shareholders, employees, and community. We extend a special acknowledgment to those volunteers who spent all day organizing, stuffing food bags, and delivering meals to the community. The volunteers for this event included:
